About the demonstration
Visitors will not only gain an insight into the materials used by painters such as Johannes Vermeer and his contemporaries, but will also be able to experience at first hand the wealth of knowledge and craftsmanship that lies behind the art of painting.
As well as making paint, Anar will also be painting live, demonstrating various aspects of classical painting techniques. In his demonstration, Anar will also explore Vermeer’s use of colour and the composition of his paintings.

Dates
Anar Rasulov’s demonstrations take place on the last Saturday of the month, namely 31 October, 28 November and 26 December 2026, between 11.00 and 16.00. The demonstration is held in the shop at the Vermeer Centrum Delft and is free to attend.
