This means that the exhibition Vermeer's World, where visitors can view Johannes Vermeer's complete oeuvre with 37 life-size reproductions, will be closed.
The other two floors of the Vermeer Center Delft, Vermeer Studio on the first floor and Hidden Love Messages in Vermeer's Paintings on the second floor, will remain open. On the second floor, visitors can admire René Jacobs' artwork “We Are Delft”, created in honour of the 350th anniversary of Johannes Vermeer's death. A short documentary about the story and creation of “We Are Delft” can also be viewed here. The shop on the ground floor will remain open throughout this period.
Due to the closure of the exhibition in the basement, the Vermeer Center Delft will be freely accessible from 5 January to 13 February 2026.
