Tours

What could be more fun and interesting than walking through the Vermeer Center and the city of Delft with an expert guide? You can come to us for various tours.

Free guided tour

Every Sunday morning we give a free tour. At 10.30 in English and at 12.00 in Dutch. Participation is free. You only pay for your normal ticket. However, we do ask you - if you want to join us - to register before Saturday afternoon 17.00 hours. Send us an email with your name, the number of people and whether you want to join the English or Dutch tour. That can go to info@vermeerdelft.nl.

With your personal guide through the Vermeer Center

Would you like a guided tour for yourself and your own group at a different time of the week? This is also possible for a maximum of 15 people at a time. You pay €50.00 on top of the normal entrance fee per person. Questions about this and reservations can be made via info@vermeerdelft.nl. Please take into account at least two weeks to arrange this.

Free audio tour

We also have an extensive audio tour in several languages that gives you extra information when you walk past the works of Johannes Vermeer. This is of course included in the entrance fee.

Guided tour of Delft

Walking outside along Vermeer's places? In about an hour the guide will take you along places where Vermeer lived and worked and of course other interesting buildings from the 17th century will also be taken. This tour can be limited to 15 people at a time. Would you like to book such a tour? Mail to info@vermeerdelft.nl at least one week in advance. Guided tours are possible in Dutch, English and German. The cost is € 60.00.

Vermeer Cubes walk

You can also take a city walk without a guide. Get to know the places where Johannes Vermeer lived and worked. Look for 'Het straatje' and his 'View of Delft', as he put it so visually on the canvas in the 17th century. In the Vermeer Centrum Delft you can buy a booklet with the so-called Vermeer cube walk for € 3.00. The cubes – scattered in the old center of the city – show you the story of his life and important places of Johannes Vermeer in the city. The walk is available in Dutch, English, French, German and Japanese.
