René Jacobs exhibited four contemporary works by Vermeer
Between 2 February and 2 March, Delft artist René Jacobs will exhibited four contemporary works by Vermeer in the Vermeer Centrum Delft. Four highlights of his search for the secret behind Vermeer's beauty could be seen in the exhibition "Another Vermeer".
Since Jacobs opened the doors of his gallery ART Jacobs in Delft in 2006, he has built up a special relationship with the work of Johannes Vermeer. In 16 years he has made more than 100 works of art, based on the work of the Delft master, in which he has shown a completely unique view of Vermeer's oeuvre.
