Exhibition 'Dutch Delftware, Marks and factories'

Until the end of 2017, a new exhibition is set up on the second floor of the Vermeer Centrum Delft. This exhibition highlights the famous Delft pottery. In eight showcases you can see special Dutch Delftware from the collection of Léon-Paul van Genen, author of the books 'Delftsch wit' and, just released, 'Dutch Delftware, Marks and factories'.

If you want to visit the exhibition or you are interested in the book 'Dutch Delftware, Marks and factories', you can visit the Vermeer Center Delft every day between 10 and 5 hours. A ticket for the whole information center costs € 9.00 and the book is available at our store for € 60.00.

Vermeer Centrum Delft gets a new coat of paint

The stair-well in the Vermeer Centrum Delft is being painted and the three floors cannot be visited in the week of Monday 23rd up to Friday 27th January 2017. Our shop and café Mechelen will stay open, so you are always welcome to buy a Vermeer souvenir or drop by for a delicious cup of coffee. From Saturday 28th January our centre will be fully open again.

Painting the stair-well is not the only thing happening, from Monday 30th January up to Friday 17th February we are repainting the building's façade. During this period the Vermeer Centrum Delft will be open, except that it will be hidden behind scaffolding and plastic sheeting.
