When visiting the Vermeer Centrum in Delft, why not take some more time and discover some of the little secrets that make Delft so popular among both tourists and those who live here.

Many call Delft a living museum... Take your time to walk around the beautiful canals, see the historic houses and special details for the keen eye. A quick tour will take about an hour, but two hours gives a better impression. A map can be obtained at the tourism information point (TIP) - just a few minutes from the Vermeer Centrum, when you walk to the right.

Other Delft attractions

Historical attractions in Delft besides the Vermeer Centrum include the Museum Het Prinsenhof, and the 2 churches Nieuwe and Oude Kerk (both linked to Vermeers past!).

A true landmark of Delft is the Delft Blue Pottery "De Porceleyne Fles". The Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles / Royal Delft is the only remaining factory of the 32 earthenware factories that were established in Delft in the 17th century.

The exhibition houses a unique collection of Delft Blue Pottery and artefacts. The Porceleyne Fles is located about 10 minutes walking from the City Centre of Delft.
